What mass is Michael Heizer levitating?
One last thing about Michael Heizer's "Levitated Mass," now that the big, media-friendly sculptural installation starring a 340-ton granite boulder has opened at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art: In comments on Culture Monster and other places that have covered the story, I've been struck by a recurrent theme.
