Forget bulky e-books: Scientists find a way to encode novels in DNA - and 70 billion copies could fit on your thumbnail

Harvard geneticists used the novel strategy to encode 70 billion copies of a single tome - a book published by their own team - into DNA, fitting all the contents into the space the size of a thumbnail.
